Here at Nossa Familia, giving back to our community is a huge part of who we are, and we are constantly looking for more ways to make the world a better place through our coffee. It's our purpose to build relationships locally and globally, and we see giving back to local nonprofits and our origin farming communities as key ways to meet that goal.

We recently discovered that since our company's inception in 2004, Nossa Familia Coffee has donated over $100,000 to charitable causes, representing over 10% of our company's profits. This is a huge milestone for small, family-run and locally-owned business. That amount is only what we've given in cash - and doesn't include the countless amount of coffee and volunteer time donated to various causes. In fact, just this year we've donated over $30,000 worth of product to over 100 different organizations.

Giving back is truly embedded in every facet of our company - and our holiday gift offerings are no exception. Over half of the items on our Gifts page include some kind of giveback component. Festa Holiday Blend

Festa - meaning 'celebration' in our owner's native Portuguese - is our company's first-ever holiday blend. It is a uniquely delicious blend of darker-roasted Brazilian coffee and lighter-roast Guatemalan coffee from some of our flagship origin partners. We are proud to have launched Festa this year as the cornerstone of our origin giveback program. We will donate 50 cents of every purchase back to our partner farm in Nicaragua - Finca San Jose de las Nubes. Run by Bayardo Reyes, this farm takes care of their workers as much as it can, but is in desperate need of some renovations and improvements to its communal kitchen and on-site food farming in order to improve safety and nutrition overall for the workers on the farm. Full Cycle - Signature Blend

Full Cycle is our signature blend and go-to roast for espresso. It is also truly the culmination of the Nossa Familia philosophy, and its name reflects our focus on the 'Full Cycle' of coffee - taking care of every person along the supply chain, from the farmers to you. 50 cents of each bag sold supports two local cycling organizations, the Bicycle Transportation Alliance (soon to be The Street Trust) and Community Cycling Center. We are proud to have partnered with another B Corp, MiiR, on these awesome insulated tumblers branded with a special bike-themed Nossa design.
