MIKA RANE

We're delighted to introduce talented illustrator and multi-media artist Mika Rane. Mika's work is inspired by her Mexican Heritage which translates into bold colors and textures with a touch of magical realism. She enjoys working in different mediums including painting, paper mache, and textiles. Mika's favorite color is red, favorite food is watermelon.

Bayardo’s top priority with his coffee farm has always been to help his fellow countrymen and improve the lives of the workers on his farm. When he first bought the land, it did not have any buildings. Over time, he has put up housing for the workers, imported solar panels and a wind turbine to provide some electricity, improved the toilets and sanitation, and provided funding for a teacher for farmworkers and their children.
