In this talk and coffee tasting, Director of Coffee Rob Hoos will explore the impacts that processing at origin can make on flavor of coffee. We will be using Timoteo Minas's Microlot Washed and Natural Processed coffees from the San Miguel Escobar Cooperative in Guatemala to highlight these differences. Both coffees will be roasted to the same roast profile, so the key difference we will be tasting is that of the processing. Rob will also present on the other main methods of coffee processing, what they mean, and how they typically affect the flavor of the coffee.
